Nokia 5710 XpressMusic spotted on the company's site

According to the latest news on the , the Nokia 5710 XpressMusic phone has been caught sight of in the wild. More exactly, it is reported to have made an appearance on the company’s US website. As many of you might already know, the device has been spotted last year at CES 2008, now it seems the handset might actually get released in the near future.

The new 5710 XpressMusic is expected by many to come as an update to the 5700 XpressMusic, which had the rather interesting swiveling bottom portion meant to allow it to switch between a numeric keypad dedicated music playback keys. The update has been spotted on the Nokia US site, is reported to be a black phone features blue accents, yet the company hasn’t made any official announcements involve the device.

An update to 5700 XpressMusic has been expected since about 15 months ago, so it may come a little later than thought. Even so, rumors say the device will be provided significant upgrades, including a 3.2 megapixel camera auto-focus, a Series 40 platform/user interface, a microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth, a music player. In addition, the appearance of the phone is also reported to be slightly changed, although it takes a lot after of its predecessor.

Considering the currently available products on the market, the Nokia 5710 XpressMusic might turn, in the end, to be a nice mid-range handset. Since the Finnish maker did not say a word on the rumored device, all we’ve got for now is a small picture appeared on the company’s site. Moreover, while the body of the phone looks a lot like the Nokia 5700 Transformers edition, some voices say an official announcement along additional improvements, compared to the 5700 version, are highly expected.
